Yanagawa Kibou-no-mori (Forest of Hope) Park

The shower of cherry blossom petals dances in spring and in summer it turns a homochromatic green tinged with the color of Asian skunk cabbages and azaleas. People can also enjoy viewing the colorful autumn leaves and Imoni-kai (seasonal event in the northeast part of Japan, where families and friends gather to cook and eat potatoes in Japanese stew-style miso soup) and to spend time together in autumn.


Hobara Comprehensive Park

This park is located in a rich green and natural environment surrounded by pastoral land. Besides the fitness facilities, such as a baseball ground, tennis courts and playgrounds, the park features central square arranged with many gigantic stones, athletic playground with wooden play equipment, the restored former-Kameoka residence, which is a western-style architecture originally built during the Meiji Period, and the Historical and Cultural Municipal Museum exhibits archeological findings, as well as historical and cultural records from Hobara Town.


Ryozen Kodomo-no-Mura (Childrenfs Village)

Located in a sylvan environment, at foot of the famous mountain, Ryozen Peaks, children can freely enjoy playing, as well as learning in the facility. This facility includes various outdoor self-propelled play equipment, such as the pedal-powered aerial gondola, all-weather indoor facility gPlay-and-Learn Museumh, cottages, auto-camping and camping site, hands-on facility gTamu-Tamu Museum.h


Tsukidate Flower Koubou (Studio)

The pentagon-shaped wooden building, with its mountain range is surrounded in greenery and the transparent sky right above. Multi-colored flowers bloom in their glory. Beautiful contrasts of patterns of nature are the first to greet its visitors. A variety of uses of this facility includes dining, accommodations, bathing, taking a break and holding meetings are available.
