Cherry blossoms, peaches, apples, field mustards are blown by the gentle breeze, while the town, mountains and fields are tinged with pastel colors. Especially the peach flower, which turns a facade of pink, and it illustrates the beautiful contrast of the blue of the sky and green of the grass, just as if it were a fairyland.
Yanagawa Kibou-no-mori (Forest of Hope) Park (Cherry Blossoms)
Six varieties and no less than 2,000 cherry blossom trees are all in glory at "Sakura-no-morih (Forest of Cherry Blossoms), about two hectares of mountain. Also, double-flowered cherry trees which were presented from the sister city, Matsumae Town in Hokkaido, are planted on Matsumae Street and can be enjoyed until the beginning of May.
Chausuyama Park
The heights which can command a panoramic view of the neighborhood and are known to be famous for cherry blossom trees, and the mountain slope is tinged with pink and can be seen from the city area of Kakeda between the middle to the end of April.
Japanese Golden-rayed Lily
This lily is native to Japan, whose color is typically white with red spots and grows wild all over Japan. The Lily Festafs annual events with golden-rayed lilies are grown by the townfs people and all other lilies are assembled, where the lilies are displayed all over the event site which attract and fascinate the visitors.
